Delicious, moist, and tender orange and honey glazed pork tenderloin made in the air fryer is a quick and easy meal that tastes elegant and fancy.
I love, love, love a meal that comes together super quickly but tastes like it took all day to cook. This simple pork tenderloin made in the air fryer is so tender!
It cooks in about 20 minutes, which makes it a great meal to get on the table fast on a busy weeknight, but it’s also elegant enough to serve to dinner guests.

Orange Honey Pork Tenderloin Made in the Air Fryer
I have been a big fan of cooking with an air fryer since I first opened my air fryer box several years ago. It has saved so much time, but without sacrificing any of the quality and flavor. In fact, most everything has turned out much better in the air fryer as opposed to roasting in the oven, pan frying, or deep frying.
Ingredients:
1½ lbs. boneless pork tenderloin roast
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp orange zest
3 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp honey
1½ tbsp whole-grain mustard
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Tools Needed:
Air Fryer
I have been asked why I use whole-grain mustard for this recipe, and can regular mustard be substituted? Yes, you can easily swap out the whole-grain mustard for regular yellow mustard or honey mustard.
I like the whole grain because it’s only partially blended, and the mustard seeds create a pasty and coarse texture.
Fun fact:Â
Mustard seeds are a great source of magnesium which helps prevent cancer and manage many health issues like migraines, high blood pressure, asthma, and arthritis.
So I say, go ahead and leave the whole-grain mustard in there. It’s good for you!
Another question I hear a lot: is a pork tenderloin the same as a pork loin? The answer to that is no. They are 2 different cuts of meat and need to be cooked differently. If you want to know all the differences, head over to my friends at Kitchn.com for a great comparison.
To cook, spray the air fryer basket or tray with non-stick cooking spray. Set the temperature to 400°F and preheat for 2 minutes. While that’s preheating, grab a small bowl and whisk together the olive oil, orange juice, orange zest, honey, and whole-grain mustard. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.Â
Rub the orange glaze all over the pork tenderloin, coating it on all sides, then place the tenderloin in the preheated air fryer and cook for 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Let the pork rest for 5 – 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

You are great. I just bought a piece of pork tenderloin, I live alone and do not use make much at one time so I buy in small amounts. When I bought it I was wondering if I could make it in my air fryer, since I am new at this. Thank you so much, wish I would have found you sooner.

Hi Roe! I really haven’t found anything that I don’t enjoy just as much – if not more – made in the air fryer. It’s a very convenient way to cook for one 🙂
I always used my slow cooker for pork tenderloin before but it was really good this way.
Thanks Lissa, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
