boneless pork chops made quickly in the air fryer

If you are looking for a quick, easy and delicious dinner idea, these air fryer glazed pork chops are a perfect meal idea.

Any time I can create a yummy, family-approved meal in under 20 minutes, I’m all in! That is just what this recipe for glazed pork chops is.

I sometimes feel a bit guilty eating pork chops. My dog is named Pork Chop. My son named him and we all thought it was adorable. His nickname has become “Chops” because although he is a little guy that looks cute and cuddly, he really wants to eat your face off.

I never imagined that it would make me pause each time I’m about to make pork chops for dinner. Maybe I should have named him “Chocolate,” it might prevent me from craving it!

The air fryer I use is the OMORC Air Fryer XL . I have been very happy with it. It has been going strong since I received it for Christmas in 2018. I have used it almost every day for cooking or reheating since I got it, so I’d have to say it is pretty durable.

2021 update: I now use the COSORI Smart Air Fryer Oven and I love it!

The most amazing thing about this recipe is how very little fuss there is. It’s a quick blending of 2 ingredients: brown sugar and vegetable seasoning blend. The only other thing to do is coat the pork chops with olive oil and then use the seasoning mix as a rub. So simple!

Gourmet Spice Blend

The special ingredient in this recipe is the roasted vegetable blend that I use. I can’t say enough about this seasoning blend! I use it on my seasoned sweet potatoes also, and that particular recipe has been my most popular on the blog to date. I am positive the vegetable seasoning blend is the reason. Trust me, it’s fantastic. I use it on all my veggies, chicken and, pork, too.

Not to worry if you don’t have the seasoning blend on hand, you can make something similar on your own:

1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. celery seed

thin bonesless pork chops in the air fryer

Feel free to use thin or thick boneless pork chops for this recipe. Keep in mind, for a thicker cut you will need to add a bit more time to the cooking process. If you prefer pork tenderloin, the brown sugar glaze goes great on that, as well.

Awesome recipe! I am new to the air fryer and this recipe was delicious…tasty and tender. My husband loved the pork chops.

        1. I made these pork chops twice this week the first time I put the chops on the first shelf in my air fryer and they were too dry ! So the second time I made them I put them on the middle shelf and they were perfect and they were nice and juicy!! I will be making these again!! My air fryer is the power XL and it has three shelves so it’s hard to judge which shelf to use until you try it out. I had to use the individual seasoning I had them all but the celery seed!

This sounds really good- as per my manufacturer I won’t spray my basket with cooking oil, as it can damage the no stick. I use perforated liners, and spray the item to be cooked with olive oil or coconut oil . Everything turns out golden delish! Thanks for the spice blend info. Small town, limited selection!

        1. A link to the spice blend is included in the article above the recipe. I’ve also included a way to make the seasoning blend on your own that will be very similar.

So juicy, tender and flavorful! So quick and easy. If you are on the fence about trying this, just do it! I subbed a bacon seasoning for the vegetable seasoning and it was phenomenal ?

This was good! I used Mrs.Dash and a bit of Season All instead of the veggies seasoning on chicken breast and grilled them.

  3. Hi, I also have the power XL air fryer with all the different shelves the one that you can rotisserie bake broil cook air fry Grill I love it I’m trying out this recipe right now for the first time and I’m putting mine on the middle shelf hopefully they’ll come out good like yours I’m hoping to use a lot of different recipes in here I just got this and I absolutely love it I used it the other day I did hot dogs and fries and it was delicious

  4. From what I’ve read you are to spray the food, not the basket. Recipe sounds
fantastic and I have pork chops waiting for this recipe!

were given an Instant Vortex air fryer for Christmas, and this was the first time I cooked meat in it. The thin boneless pork chops were easy to prepare and cook and were delicious and juicy. I used McCormick’s Salt Free Garlic and Herb Seasoning in place of the one you recommended because it was not available at my store. The dominant taste, which added so much to the chops was the brown sugar. When I have fried thin boneless chops on the stove before, they are usually dry with little flavor. Not so here. Your timing and temperature guide was right on target to retain crisp exterior with juicy, but fully cooked interior

    1. I am so happy you enjoyed them! I agree about pork chops usually being dull and flavorless which is why this recipe is one of my favorites, it provides incredible flavor.

I’m not sure what I did wrong but there was no glaze when it was finished. Couldn’t taste anything but the pork chop
    I followed recipe as stated

    1. Oh no, very sorry to hear this. If you give it another try, be sure to coat the pork chops completely with the rub and not to overcook, as that can cause the glaze to cook off.

Tried this recipe followed the cooking instructions for the thin pork chops they were over cooked and I only cooked for 6 minutes the rub was very tasty but I think they would have been cooked in the oven better.

  8. Hi can you please tell me how to do in a air fryer oven that has 3 tray’s and not the basket in new to this thanks 👍
